Here at Basfords, we often undertake jobs that require much care and attention due to the complexity of the project. We also aim to go to the extra mile with these kinds of jobs, to help the customer make a choice they are comfortable with. Over the last year this has involved us creating computer rendered images showing the customers choice of window, and the specified colours, on the property it self. For this particular project though, we did something quite different.
For this job, which was undertaken by our team in 2015, the customer was working on a barn conversion project, and wanted to replace all the wooden windows in the building with Origin aluminium windows instead. The main thing with this customers project however was that they were undecided about what colour to have the windows finished in, but knew of the options they wanted to go for. The colours in question were ivory, agate grey and pebble grey, and to show how these colours looked on the property, we painted 2 of the windows and the front doors one of the three colours so that they could see how the colours matched with the brickwork. After seeing the different options, the customer decided to go for a pebble grey finish for his Origin OW80 aluminium windows, with each of the windows having a U Value of 0.9 thanks to the input of Aerogel into each of the windows. As you can see from the images displayed, the final results of this barn conversion are stunning, and this really was a fantastic project to be a part of from start to finish.
