Planning considerations for bifolding doors.
From time to time we will receive from a customer for more than one of our products to create something really special. These can include having an orangery built and then having a bifolding door fitted onto the orangery. From time to time however, a customer combining our products can result in something big.
This was the case when a Mr and Mrs Barrett came to our showroom inquiring about using our services to add to a barn conversion that they were having completed. After our Managing Director Craig Deaton inspected the house to see what could be done, the idea to have 28 flush aluminum windows, 2 pairs of french doors, 1 bi folding door made by Origin as well a brand new doors, all in Pebble Gray seemed too good to be true.
As well as these options, all of the windows used for the build were made of Celsius Clear Glass which comes with a U Value of 0.9 which is the lowest value for double glaze windows on the market. As a result, the glass helps to protects the integrity of the glass and also not let UV rays through meaning that no furniture in the house can be discoloured and also keeps the inside of the house cool through the summer and helps to keep the heat in during the winter.
As you can see from the images below, the results from these before and after pictures, speak for themselves as these windows and doors help to complete the aesthetic look of the house making it a true modern design.
