orangeries are so popular with so many of our customers is due to the fact that they’re so practical and can be used for a variety of different uses. In the past we’ve had customers want an orangery as a living space at the back of a house, a playroom for grandchildren and an extension for a living room to name a few. One of our larger builds for a customer consisted of having an orangery placed on a bungalow which not only added an orangery onto the living room of the house but also added more space to the customer’s bedroom. As well as this, the customers, Mr and Mrs Evans from Lancashire, requested for the living room to have Bi-Folding doors in Anthracite grey while the bedroom extension would have French doors in Anthracite grey. Even though this build was larger than a standard orangery build like we have built in the past, the building process was exactly the same as it would have been from a standard sized orangery built from scratch. Once the build was completed, Mr and Mrs Evans said that “we’re so surprised with how quickly it’s been finished, all of the builders have been so polite and well-mannered towards us and the experience has really been lovely”. As you can see from the pictures below, this 1980s bungalow now has a look bringing it into the 21st century and creating a truly grand design.
